We are excited to announce that we now have a new Alpha version of Marello available. This new Alpha 2 version adds the following features (among others):
In the Alpha 2 release we have been focussing on Inventory management. The following features are added to this release.
Where is your inventory going? Inventory logging gives you a complete overview of all your stock movements; Stock additions through new purchase or returns, stock increase through orders. No matter what, “Inventory logging” will tell you. The last inventory moments are shown on the product overview. A complete overview is also available by clicking on the “Inventory Log” button.
You can add stock manually, use a stock import file (use the Products -> Inventory module) or use the API.
Stock, Allocated stock and Virtual stock
What stock do I have in my warehouses, what is allocated and what is available for sale? The product view page will always tell you what the right figures are.
Sales Channels and Multi-currency
Sales Channels is moved from ‘System’ to ‘Sales’ in the menu and has a new attribute ‘currency’ that can be set when the Sales Channel is created.
On product level all Sales Channels that are marked as ‘default’ will be added by default when a product is created. This also sets the different currencies in which the product is sold.
The right currency is also set when Channel pricing is used.
A Dashboard widget is added with the revenue per Sales Channel.
The order process is extended with additional input fields on order status transfers, a payment reminder email and transactional emails that are also logged as order activities.
